Meeting in person

Choose a public, well-lit place such as a mall or building lobby. Bring someone with you for larger or more valuable items, and inspect before you confirm.

Checking an item

Ask for extra photos, serial numbers or a short video before you commit. For electronics, power the item on before you confirm receipt.
